Rockville Lake Park hosts the first 18 hole disc golf course in Parke County. Disc golf is one of the fastest growing outdoor trends in the world, and thanks for our community support we are proud to offer disc golf in our facility. Through the expertise of course designer Dennis Byrne of The Disc Golf Company, our disc golf course is very unique. Our wooded course has two sets of tee pads to accommodate all skill levels, and what a great way to spend time with your family. Want exercise but don't really enjoy running or biking? Disc golf and especially our course is a great way to spend an hour walking through the woods. Not only will you get to enjoy such an exciting game, but you will also get to witness nature while playing our course. With over 4,000 courses worldwide, our course offers a unique challenge.

The discs used in this activity very greatly and are not your normal frisbee. Discs are designed as drivers, mid-range, and putters and are much heavier than what you and friends use to play catch. Each of these discs serve the player a different purpose. Disc are sold at our park gatehouse or you can rent them from us to give it a try. The concept is the same as regular golf, the least amount of throws from the tee box to the basket.... the disc must come to rest inside the basket or chains. It's as simple as that.

By selling ads on our tee signs, we were able to raise over $10,500 to help with this course. Click the following to see a list of our sponsors! RLP Hole Sponsors

Every year we have a charity event for the Arms Forces Foundation and is presented by the Crossroads Disc Golf Club. This year will be our second year as the host facility and we anticipate an even larger turnout. Two rounds will be played here at Rockville Lake Park with three extra holes in place. There are multiple divisions for all skill levels in this competition. The cost is $40 for any amateur division and $60 for the Pro divisions. Along with the tournament, this fee will get you a tournament tee shirt, a disc, and possibly other items.
