Facility and Camping Policy
Policies:
General:
No refunds given
Daily entrance fee is required for anyone using the facility: This includes people dropping off their children.
Customer must adhere to state regulations while fishing/boating.
Customers must adhere to park rules while engaging in leisure activities on premises.
Must adhere to speed limits and all other road signs.
Showers are for campers only, they are not intended for daily use customers.
There is NO life guard at the beach, swim at your own risk. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
Customer must show respect to other facility users, including pets and personal property.
Pets:
Must be kept on a leash
NOT allowed on the beach
Owners must clean up after their pets, including waste
Camping:
Check-in times are 1pm
Check out times are 12pm unless otherwise posted. (Covered Bridge Festival check-out time is 10 am)
Campers checking out are still allowed to utilize the facility for the remainder of their check-out date. Campers may be parked near the gatehouse.
NO refunds are given for camping for any reason including reservation deposits, reservation fees, entrance fees, or purchase of camp store merchandise.
Cancellations - Any site that is cancelled prior to arrival via telephone may(all credits for a cancellation are subject to management approval) receive a credit of the amount paid minus the reservation fees, to be used for another date within the current camping season. NO refunds are given. If anyone does NOT call to cancel prior to their stay, they then forfeit their deposit(reservation fee and first night of camping)!!
Reservations deposits are the first night of camping plus a $5 reservation fee. We DO NOT accept the full amount due at the time of reservations. The remainder of your camping is due upon arrival plus any additional applicable fees.
Firewood
Must be de-barked prior to arrival. If not, wood will be confiscated and destroyed.
NO pallets or any other wood with hardware attached or inserted allowed.
DO NOT remove wood from surrounding area to burn.
Facility Rules:
Limit of two tents or one camper and one tent per campsite.
No tents allowed on Lakefront campsites
Limit of two vehicles per campsite. Additional parking is located by the gatehouse or boat ramp.
Camping is permitted is designated areas only. No camping along nature trails.
Quiet hours are from 11pm - 7am.
If the beach is open, swim at your own risk. No swimming after dark.
Fires are permitted only in fire-rings, charcoal burners, or grills. Fires must be extinguished before leaving the park.
DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS!
No fireworks allowed in the park.
Washing of dishes or pets at drinking fountains is not permitted.
Disposal of gray water on ground is prohibited by state law and will result in fines.
Motor vehicles shall be confined to roads, parking areas, and campsites. Anyone caught driving in the grass or trails, will be asked to leave.
Must be at least 16 years of age to operate any motor vehicle, including golf carts.
Use of firearms or airguns if prohibited.
Obey the speed limit of 15 mph.
Boats are to operate in accordance to state law.
Electric motors only for boats.
Fishing is permitted in accordance to state law. You must possess a fishing license if over 18.
All trash must be placed is provided barrels and/or dumpsters.
Pets must be on a leash and attended at all times.
Possession of alcoholic beverages by anyone under 21 is prohibited.
All visiting cars must be out of the park by midnight.
There are NO REFUNDS given.
Violation of any above rules/laws will result in removal from the park with the possibility of fines and/or arrest.
